- Flat Monthly Or Quarterly Fee.

Firm Meeting Representation Goals.

Results-Based Fee Agreements.
Contingent Fees
We will base our contingent fees on your preferences.
Historically, contingent fee litigation has been undertaken for a flat
percentage of the recovery. At
MYERS,
BOEBEL & MACLEOD L.L.P., we will handle
your case on this basis. Because the specific percentage depends on the
nature of your case please contact us for a quote. A sample of how
contingent fees are calculated in a hypothetical case is available
here.
We will also handle your contingent fee litigation for a sliding
percentage of the recovery. Litigation has very specific stages starting
with pre-suit investigation all the way through trial and appeal.
Because of our experience and understanding of the various stages, we
are able to handle your case for a percentage fee that starts low and
gradually increases as the case progresses to and through trial. What
this means is that if we settle your case quickly, you receive a greater
share of the settlement. A sample calculation under two different
settlement scenarios is available
here.
The option that is best for you will depend on your litigation goals.
We will discuss the alternatives with you and give you the time you need
to examine your options and decide which one is best.
No matter how you choose to structure your fee agreement, we will never
encourage you to settle for less than full and fair compensation.
Performance-Based Bonuses
We
also make our results-based fee agreements available to defense
clients. In some cases, we will accept a relatively low flat fee, with
an additional payment that depends on the results we achieve in your
case. Review our
hypothetical calculation of a results-based fee agreement in a defense
case, and then give us a call to discuss your litigation.
